Ordinances

An ordinance is a law passed by the Village of Windsor government. The Village of Windsor is responsible for protecting our community's health, safety and welfare through effective enforcement of ordinances.

The New Windsor Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of all village ordinances and state statutes within the New Windsor Village limits. The Mercer County Sherriff's Department as well as the Illinois State Police Departmant and pollice officers from nearby municipalities may also be called in to assist.
